Hi, I’m Alisa. I have a fierce passion for connection, seeing the world from different angles and collaborating with others to attain a higher level of being. I am endlessly curious about the human experience, inspired by the stories of others, and continually seek ways to use my experiences to improve the quality of human life through opportunities that invite individuals to be present, to be connected, and to notice the goodness scattered all about.

As both a Technical Writing/Communications/Marketing expert & Creative Directing/Design guru, I bring a mix of artistic attention and keen business expertise, culminating in a unique blend of strong creative vision, acuity to fine technical detail, and an understanding of how to execute business objectives. I back up ideas with the skill set required to create engaging, meaningful, audience-connecting solutions. I am a motivated leader and team player who thrives off of collaboration, thirsts after knowledge, and champions the success and development of others.

I cannot express enough my love and gratitude for you. You have single-handedly SAVED us this year. Please know how much you are loved and valued. I hope you know how GRATEFUL I am for you. How grateful [my husband] and my kids are for you. Because of you and ONLY you, I have been able to be a better mom, wife and friend.

Thank you so much for navigating our ship into calmer waters. This job can be pretty overwhelming but I can say this year has been more rewarding and positive than it has been for me for a long time. I know that is all because ofyou. The changes we are making are all positive and I probably don’t tell you enough how grateful we are. Me especially. Thanks for allowing me to figure out how to get back to loving the studio. It’s still overwhelming but I know it’s on the right path.

I am an avid reader of Stampington's Artful blogging and your article along with the absolutely adorable pictures of your children brought me to tears. The way you write speaks to me and I just wanted you to know that. I was even in for a bigger treat when I returned to my computer after reading the article to look up your blog. WOW!  Nothing else quite describes it and the amazing pages that you have.

Your graphics and your collages
and your art blew my mind.

I read about you in Artful Blogging and visited your wonderful site. I love love love words and how you've put things together with visual art is beautiful.  You look at life in a very wonderful way :)

I'm Elisa, Italian (Sardinian) wedding planner. Browsing the internet in search of inspiration, ideas and moods, I found your site and...WOW! I was literally surprised by the beauty and particularity. Many compliments for your truly unique and original site!

GORGEOUS work…I love love love LOVE your work. It's so pretty and fun and inspiring and I could seriously spend hours looking at it.

Il titolo la dice lunga: MY CONCRETE SKY by Alisa Holland.

In a moment of rare pause in this very hot season, surfing the Web in search of the thousand inspirations that make this work always new and stimulating, I don't know how (mystery of online browsing...) I came across this VERY SHABBY website! !

The title says it all: MY CONCRETE SKY by Alisa Holland. Inside an explosion of thoughts, books, poems, images but above all... PURE DESIGN!

So many inspirations that I wanted to publish them all...

Thank you Alisa for this gift and I hope a collaboration between artists like us can be born oceans away.

Today I would like to recommend a real, feel good, full of creativity and charming website, My Concrete Sky. Created by designer, illustrator and full time mum Alisa Holland, this is a colourful representation of a happy life. Full of fun and cute illustrations, positive messages, brilliant photography and fun recommendations this is a fantastic site to cheer up and enjoy visually. Have a little look and maybe get inspired to document the happiness in your life.

Just stumbled upon and spent a lot of time on your blog and wanted to tell you how beautiful it is in so many ways. You and Jared are adorable. I also love your inspirational artwork. I am a high school counselor and many of the quotes would be so fitting to have in my office. Just wanted to commend you on your gorgeous blog!  :)

I really wanted to write to tell you thank you for being so candid and honest. As much as I love reading blogs and following them and gleaning all sorts of inspirations and ideas from them, I often feel a little disappointed because so much of it seems, well, a little fake. I don't know that it's possible to make a post about something crafty really heartwarming and deep, but sometimes it's nice to read a post or series of posts by a blogger that contain a nugget of humanity and trueness within it. I guess I really just wanted to say, "you go girl!"

I just recently discovered your lovely blog world and couldn't stop reading until I was finished with every entry.  Thank you for being so vulnerable and allowing me to see the world through your eyes.  What a delight.  I laughed at your entry entitled "I'm not fat, just big boned".  I relate to your unrequited desire to be thin - I SO get it!  Perception is such an interesting thing.....growing up I always looked at you and admired your confidence, spirituality, and thought you were one of the most beautiful girls in our school.  When you write about how self conscious you are about your body and looks, I'm stunned. Too bad we can't all see ourselves through each others eyes - you are exceptionally beautiful and I am being completely sincere in saying that. Thank you for your inspiring words - so many of them truly touched my heart.
