I really wanted to write to tell you thank you for being so candid and honest. As much as I love reading blogs and following them and gleaning all sorts of inspirations and ideas from them, I often feel a little disappointed because so much of it seems, well, a little fake. I don't know that it's possible to make a post about something crafty really heartwarming and deep, but sometimes it's nice to read a post or series of posts by a blogger that contain a nugget of humanity and trueness within it. I guess I really just wanted to say, "you go girl!"

I relate to your unrequited desire to be thin - I SO get it! Perception is such an interesting thing.....growing up I always looked at you and admired your confidence, spirituality, and thought you were one of the most beautiful girls in our school. When you write about how self conscious you are about your body and looks, I'm stunned. Too bad we can't all see ourselves through each others eyes - you are exceptionally beautiful and I am being completely sincere in saying that.
